Welcome to the Coltishall Agility Club Leaderboard page. Every year we encourage all our club members to collate their results, and then take the top 20 results for each dog, convert the results to points, the top few in each category then receive awards at our Christmas Dinner! It adds a little competition element to the Club. This year the results are collected in paper form, but we are working on a way to enable points to be entered via the website for 2009. Can I please have all results in by 1st December - please use the supplied form below.

LeaderBoard Rules 2010

The end of each year awards are presented for each grade & Small/Medium Grades 1 to 7 Combined plus Veteran/Allsorts The awards are calculated based on your accumulated points gained at competitions during the year. Points can be claimed as follows:

  • Grade 1 may enter interclub points 5 for 1st down to 1 point for 6th place or below or a clear.
  • Grade 1-7 : Unaffiliated or Limited Shows are worth half points
  • Grade 1-2: 25 points for win down to 5 points for 20th—30th place or a clear round.
  • Grade 3-7 : As for Grade 1-3 but no clear round points.
  • Your Dog must be trained at Coltishall for the full season (new ruling)
  • Maximum of 20 results only to be entered which includes all bonuses

Bonuses
25 points for winning into the next grade
100 points for reaching Grade 7
25 points for qualifying for a final.

 

Points can be claimed from all shows which are run under Kennel Club rules for all classes except Pay on the Day; if the show is unaffiliated, points are halved. Pairs and team points can only be included if all partners are members of the Club.

If you win out of your standard during the year, you can continue to claim points as for your earlier standard until the end of that year.

In addition, The Fozziewiggle Clear Round Hound Award perpetual trophy will be presented to the dog of any size in Grades 1-3 with the most unplaced clear rounds, and a rosette awarded to the best Veteran dog.

The points book with a full explanation of the scoring rules will be made available for updating during club nights. Remember, it is your responsibility to update it.

Awards will be presented at the annual Christmas dinner with a perpetual trophy for the winner of each category and rosettes for the other placings

The Fozziewiggle Clear Round Hound Award

To be presented annually to the dog with the most UNPLACED clear rounds during the year. 

RULES AND ELIGIBILITY

ELIGIBLE DOGS:

Open to all dogs of any size competing at Grades 1-3 (Elementary – Graduate) and dogs of any grade competing ONLY in Veterans / Allsorts / Anysize or equivalent classes.

Clear Rounds are counted for the dog regardless of who the handler is.

ELIGIBLE SHOWS: All KC shows, open or limited; Unaffiliated shows as long as dog is running at an equivalent to their normal Grade under KC regs; Interclub matches. 

Fun Days, Training Days and demonstrations cannot be included.

ELIGIBLE CLASSES:

All “singles” classes, graded or combined, where Clear Round rosettes could be awarded, including ABC, Helter Skelter and other “special classes”, qualifiers and finals; this will exclude Gamblers, Snooker, and Time Fault & Out. Pay on the Day, Pairs, Trios, Teams and Knockouts are not eligible.

The Clear Round must be completed within the course time and must be unplaced.

Date, Show and Class to be recorded on the back of the Leaderboard points sheet for Grade 2/3 dogs (Grade 1 should already be recorded for points). There is no limit to number of clear rounds to be included so if front of sheet is full, continue with clear rounds on the back of the sheet.
